This used to be a web page for a class at college, but NOW I am devoting this web space to HeroClix. If you don't know what HeroClix is, I suggest you go Here to find out. I am using this space so that you can download some Graphical Spoilers that I made using Microsoft Excel, WizKids Games' HeroClix website, my own figs, eBay, and a few, uh guesses.

I'm very interested in Graphical Spoilers for HeroClix, because not only do I collect figures that look cool or are favorite characters of mine that may not be all that great game-wise, I also am a player, and would like to buy singles based on the powers that I like to use and point costs. This is where a graphical spoiler would come in very, very handy. I had wondered at one point whether WizKids or anyone else had made a graphical spoiler; I know that InQuest Magazine publishes limited versions of what I would consider a complete spoiler, so I wrote to them for the answer; you can check out my letter on page 12 in issue #114.

The answer? They don't have one for HeroClix yet, though they do for Mage Knight. I imagine it would be more difficult to print a graphical spoiler because all the characters in HeroClix are all owned by different companies. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to create these guides myself. I did a lot of work nearer the end of summer, but had to stop due to working two jobs plus going to school full time. But, now that the semester is over, I put a few finishing touches on my graphical spoilers and am going to put them here for you to download!

The file size of each of these is a little large, around 1MB for each, but nowadays that's not too bad to download, especially with cable and DSL being the standard for this stuff.

Note that the images are all copied from the HeroClix website, which I know is usually a no-no, but there wasn't anywhere else to get pics of all the figs, and even then, I couldn't get pics of ALL the figs; a lot of the Limited Edition (bronze ring) figures don't have images. In these instances, I usually just put in a picture that would make sense; so for example, the Sue Storm limited edition fig from Marvel: Clobberin' Time, I just put in a pic of Invisible Woman. I had to do this a lot, but I don't think that a lot of the figs differ. If you've got a better pic, let me know. Also, if you come across any stats that are wrong, let me know, so I can fix them in the next update. (There shouldn't be too many mistakes, though.) The HeroClix website also didn't have complete stats, usually range, for all the Limited Edition figs, so if you get this info, you can email it to me. My address is theycallmemrd@hotmail.com.

I made these for everyone, but I would appreciate it if you didn't put them on your own personal website without asking permission. You can email me to ask for permission, or if you have any other questions.

Starting with Marvel: Xplosion, I've changed the format of the graphical spoilers a little. I found that if I do it this way, it takes a lot less time to make a spoiler; I finished Xplosion in a matter of hours. It also takes less ink to print, if you want to print them.

The Ultra-Complete HeroClix Graphical Database

This is something I put together over Christmas break. It's a complete database of all the figures so far realeased; it even includes Universe, and will be updated in March or April when DC: Legacy comes out. All the figs are in alphabetical order, from 4-Eyes to Zelda DuBois, and includes uniques and LEs. All the pertinent gaming information is there, from point cost to team abilities. All their dial info is there, color-coded to correspond to any powers they have. Set information is also there, from what universe they come from, what set, and their collector's number and rank. It's a little less than 5 Mb, and it's 140 printed pages (you may have to fiddle with the top and bottom margins a little). It looks beautiful when printed out and put into protective pages. Personally, I put big neon checkmarks on my printed copy of all the figures I own, so that I can flip through it and pick figures I want to make a team out of, instead of looking through my pieces one at a time and looking through their dial. If you play HeroClix, I would argue that you need this database.

Wednesday, Feb. 9: It's been a while, but there haven't been many new developments. I added the new Nova LE fig to the Mutant Mayhem Graphical Spoiler, upgrading it to version 2.1. I probably won't add Nova to the Ultra-Complete Spoiler until March, when I can go ahead and add in the Legacy figures as well. Big update then!
Also, if anyone is interested, I'm looking for people to find typos in my spoilers, by checking them against the HeroClix website. I'll probably get around to doing it eventually, but there's just so much to do lately. E-mail me if you are interested.

Tuesday, Jan. 11: Ooh, I think this is something very special. Uploaded a new Graphical Database. This has information on ALL the figs, even those in Universe, in a graphical format, but it doesn't go as in-depth as the graphical spoilers. Really, the only thing missing is textual explanations of the powers and team abilities. The file is over 4.5 Mb, but this is definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done for HeroClix.
Friday, Dec. 24: Updated Indy Graphical Spoiler; I added the Statesman figure from City of Heroes, as well as reformatting the spoiler to look like the way I'm doing it now. Added Marvel: Mutant Mayhem Graphical Spoiler. That's all the sets! (With the exception of Universe, which is only made up of figs from other sets.) The next goal is to update the Marvel: Infinity Challenge, Marvel: Clobberin' Time, and DC: Hypertime Graphical Spoilers to reflect the new look. These probably won't be up until the first of the year. Merry Christmas!!!
